Valentine

Microchipped and Neutered

It can take Valentine a bit of time to come round to people. She is a Spanish rescue who has a hard time trusting people, especially men. She was very much a street dog so adapting to home life can be difficult for her. However, once she trusts you, she is a very loving and affectionate dog.

We are looking for a home that has experience dealing with nervous dogs. Her new owners will need to be patient with her while she settles in. We are also looking for a home with a good sized, fully enclosed garden, with high fencing, as she did escape when she first came to this country and it took 7 months to be able to catch her again. We believe a country home, maybe on a farm, would be most suited as she is good with livestock. Also somewhere she can spend most of her time outside where she is more relaxed and prefers to be.

Due to her timid nature we feel an adult only house would be better. She has lived with another dog and is very placid so with a successful meet and greet could live with another dog. She does have a high prey drive so no cats or furry animals.

Valentine walks well, but is strong on the lead, and cannot be let off.

We feel that Valentine will make the perfect addition to someone that is willing to be patient and provide lots of love – can you offer this lovely lady her forever home?

I will be happy to have a home. Are you sure I'm right for you?
